For Tommy, it all started at family gatherings in Princeton, NC. Tried and true family recipes were thread into every holiday gathering, and countless photos picture gatherings around the ‘smoker’. Cinder block pits in the driveway, re-bar supports for whole hog smoking. Extra tin roofing to cover the pit, keeping the heat in. Nothing can beat wood, fire, smoke, and heat, so it was kept simple-- letting the flavor speak for itself. Tommy’s sweetest summers and holidays were spent in a small town eating good food with great people.
Now Tommy keeps the family tradition alive with his own crew. The smoker has gotten an upgrade, but that same flavor remains. He carries on his legacy with his wife and his own three kids--and they can’t wait to share it with you.
