First Baptist Hartwell Fall Festival. Bring the family and the kids for a great time. Lots of games, activities and Trunk n Treat. We will also have grilled hot dogs and pulled pork sandwich meals available!

Pigskins & Picasso brings the GAC community together through the GAC Fine Arts and Athletic departments. The event features face painting, art classes, a delicious dinner from Tommy Ray’s Barbecue, and other fun activities. The event is followed by a varsity football game. This is a ticketed event.

We will be pre-selling BBQ plates and Family meals to help the Hart County Middle School Cross Country team raise funds for their upcoming season.

The 4th of July is just around the corner, which means it’s time for the City of Hartwell’s Pre-Fourth Celebration.

We will be set up and ready to serve you some of the best BBQ in town!

We will be posting the menu soon!!

A celebration of the year for all faculty and staff of South Hart Elementary School. Menu includes sliced brisket, smoked pulled chicken, Toby’s Brunswick stew, smoked baked beans, Cole slaw and sauces. This luncheon will be held at the Hart County Agricultural Center.

Join us at the picturesque Hartwell Lakeside City Beach located in Hartwell Lakeside Resort, the old Hart State Park, for the Hartwell Lakeside Music Festival on Sunday, May 26th for an unforgettable evening of live music featuring six top regional bands. The concert will start at 4:00 PM and continue until 10:00 PM. In addition to the incredible music, we will be one of a variety of food and craft vendors, as well as a dedicated kid's area for our young festival goers to enjoy. The 4th of July is just around the corner, which means it’s time for the City of Hartwell’s Pre-Fourth Celebration.

We will be set up and ready to serve you some of the best BBQ in town!

Again, the Pre-Fourth Extravaganza begins at 8:30 to 2:30p in downtown Hartwell and ends with fireworks at Longpoint Park.

The event will kick off with the children’s parade which begins at 10a.

Over 100 arts and crafts, as well as food vendors, will be selling their wares in the downtown area until 2:30pm.

The day culminates with a fireworks display sponsored by the Hart County Chamber of Commerce. Fireworks take place at dark at Longview Point Park.

Children’s Garden is a home for former street boys who were abandoned, neglected and orphaned.

Every day they can have anywhere from 20-30 people at a time sitting down for meals in our kitchen. They are a BIG family and love eating together.

However, eating together can be a challenge. The kitchen could use some repairs and changes to make it more functional.

We have partnered with them with the help of some friends to make this happen! And you can be a part of this too!
